The death occurred at Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Monday, March 31, 2014, of Elva Allan, O'Leary, aged 97. Born in Coleman on November 19, 1916, daughter of the late John and Margaret (Murphy) Simmons. Loving grandmother to Blair Graham (Darlene Betts), Forestview; Norman (Connie) Graham, Lachine, QC; Una Graham, Point Claire, QC., and four great-grandchildren. Elva is survived by sister Annie Smith McInnis; brothers John Robert and Leslie Smith, all of Fredericton, N.B. Predeceased by her parents, first husband Arthur Graham (1968), second husband James Hutt Allan (1982), sons Clarence and Blaine. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, Funeral service on Friday April 4, at 10:30 a.m. at Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel, O'Leary. Interment will follow later in West Devon United Church Cemetery. In memory of Elva, memorials to West Devon United Church Cemetery would be appreciated.
