We, the family of the late Ada Samms of Norris Point, who passed away on March 14, 2014 would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all who supported us in any way during this difficult time.

We sincerely appreciate the food, flowers, donations, cards, phone calls, messages and certainly the people who stayed in church during the time Mom was waked there. We appreciate the donations made to The Church of the Good Shepherd Memorial fund, The Hospital Long Term Care fund, The Cancer Society and any others that were made in Mom’s memory.

A very special Thank You to all the staff at The Bonne Bay Health Centre, especially the Long Term Care, Mom said you were all angels, and she thoroughly enjoyed her stay there. A huge Thank You to her physician Dr. Bowen, whom she just adored. Thank you for your professional care and compassion.

A special Thank You to the Officiant: The Rev. Canon Louise Richards and a very extra special Thank You to The Rev. Jim Beaton, who has been a friend to Mom and our family for a very long time, for doing the Homily and playing such a great part in the service. Thanks to the readers: Sarah Samms and Geraldine Shears, Lay Minister: Loretta Parsons, Organist: Mona Major, Pallbearers: Murray Knott, Maurice Knott, Roy Laing, Howard Parsons, Clarence Stone and Howard Critch. Special Thanks to Fillatre’s Funeral Home for your professional care and compassion.

Thanks to Mom’s Senior Group and her Hospital Auxillary Group for attending the church service and to the Senior Group for the lovely supper at the Senior’s Hall following the funeral.

It’s hard to thank everyone personally but please be assured your kindness and love will not go unnoticed.
