(February 28, 1943 - April 3, 2014) - Passed peacefully away on Thursday, April 3rd, 2014 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital in the presence of his loving family, Andrew Chafe age 71 years. Pre-deceased by his parents: John Robert and Louisa Chafe; parents-in-law: Nehemiah, Tryphena, and Dorothy Chafe; sister Joan; sister-in-law Bernice Chafe; brothers-in-law Donald Pack, Arthur Noseworthy, Garland Seymour, Frank Chafe, Reginald Chafe, and William Stack. Leaving to mourn his beloved and loving wife Gladys (nee Chafe), his pride and joy: son Bradley (Melissa); sisters: Dorothy Noseworthy, Alma Pack (Selby), Hannah Seymour-Ayres (Clary); brother Alex Chafe (Lucy); sisters-in-Law: Jean Stack, Lynn Mercer (Fred), and Sharon Chafe (Gary); brothers-in-Law: George Chafe (Rita), Cyril Chafe (Lucy), Edwin Chafe (Rosalie), and Donald Chafe (Patricia) and his many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends, and his faithful four legged buddy: Champ. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 10am-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett's Chapel on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
