Starkes, Wilbert (Bert) of Lewisporte, passed away at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on Wednesday, Feb 26, 2014 after a brief illness at the age of 80 years. Predeceased by his wife Vera, Parents William and Lillian, mother-in-law Gertrude Luff. Leaving to cherish his memory is daughter Diane (Dennis) Goodyear and grandson Brandon, father-in-law Raymond Luff, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held at the Philadelphia Pentecostal Church in Lewisporte on Sunday, March 2, 2014. Funeral arrangements by Families First Funeral Home, Lewisporte.
