With a very heavy heart and much sadness we announce the passing of Elizabeth Rose Carter on Friday April 4, 2014 at the Health Science Centre in St. John's. Loving mother of Richard Chafe (Sherry) and Robert Chafe both of St. John's and Debbie Ennis (Edward) of Scarborough, Ontario. Loved and remembered by her grandchildren Leslie (Megan), Alisha (Pat), David, Jonathan, Heather, Amanda (Corey) and Evan Chafe, Chanel, Ebony and L.J. Ennis, as well as great-grandchildren Samuel, Molly, Abigail and Ella. Forever missed by her mother Alma Carter of North Pond Nursing Home and by her sister Barbara Chatman (Harvey). At her request cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at Carnell's Funeral Home 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday April 8, 2014 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the Carnell Memorial chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. following the visiting.
