GAUDET, LUCIEN - Lucien Gaudet of Residence du Marais, Dieppe (formerly of La Montain) passed away on Monday April 7, 2014 at the age of 91. Born on December 24, 1922 in Cocagne, he was the son of the late Leandre Gaudet and the late Marie Breau. He worked as a farmer on the family farm until his retirement. After his retirement, he would go for his afternoon drive everyday in the valley. He loved playing cards. He is survived by his four daughters, Marie-Paule (Normand) Landry of Moncton, Jacqueline (Gilles) LeBlanc of Dieppe, Stella (Jean-Guy) LeBlanc of Shediac and Liette (Eugene) LeBlanc of Memramcook; one son, Pierre Gaudet (Denise) of Little Dover Rd; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Edmee (late Francis) Belliveau of Dieppe; two brothers, Louis-Philippe (Charlotte) Gaudet of Dieppe and Leopold (Yvonne) Gaudet of St-Joseph and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Marie (1991), four sisters, Zita, Leona, Lorraine and Geraldine and by six brothers, Aurele, Yvon, Eric, Emile, Albert and Joseph-Camille.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home 15 Rte La Vallee, Memramcook on Wednesday April 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook church, St-Joseph on Thursday April 10 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in the parish cemetery.
