Louis J. McMullin, age 73, of Pasadena Calif., passed away peacefully on March 30, 2014.
Born in North Sydney, he was the son of the late Daniel Joseph (Joe) and Kathleen McMullin.
Louis graduated from St. Joseph's High School, North Sydney. He received his Bachelor of Science from Saint Mary's University, Halifax and a Master of Music from the University of Los Angeles. Louis was a very talented and accomplished musician and enjoyed sharing his love of music at many special events.
Louis moved to California in 1963 but kept in touch with many friends and relatives in Nova Scotia, visiting as often as he could.
He is survived by sisters, Sylvia Keith, Dartmouth, Winifred (Joe) Poltz, Palm Springs, California, Rose Ann (Harry) Delorey, Canso, Bernard (Joan) McMullin, Dartmouth and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brother Joseph McMullin.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of the Neptune Society, Los Angeles, California.
A celebration of life was held at his home in Pasadena.
