The death occurred at the Garden Home, Charlottetown, on Sunday, April 6, 2014, of Leslie William O'Halloran, aged 89, veteran of the Korean War.
Born in Bloomfield on July 28, 1924, he was the son of the late William and Mary (Griffin) O'Halloran. Leslie is survived by his sister Frances Hardy, Mississauga, ON., and his sister-in-law Jennie O'Halloran, O'Leary. Dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers and sisters: Pearl (Bob) Bussey, Hilda, Minnie, Henry (Lucy), Charlie and Doris (Bill) Urchuck and brother-in-law Allison Hardy. Resting at the Ferguson Funeral Home and Chapel, O'Leary, with visiting hours Wednesday, April 9, from 12:30-1:30 p.m. then to St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock, for funeral mass at 2 p.m. Interment at a later date. In memory of Leslie, memorials to St. Anthony's Parish Cemetery would be appreciated. "The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Home with a very special thank you to Sonya and Angela."
