BROOKS, ROBERT FRANCIS - It is with heavy hearts that the family of Robert Francis “Tuffy” Brooks, announces that he passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 after a very sudden illness. He had just returned from a most wonderful trip to Ireland which he enjoyed immensely. Robert is survived by his daughter, Sarah Brooks-Gaignard (Dan) and his son, Bradly Kiss (Ashley), his grandchildren, Bailey, Charles, Bryn and Quinn, his seven siblings, Marie (John), Jeanne (Paul), Richard (Karen), Carl, Deborah (Dennis), Michael, Peter, and a Brooks’ load of nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Carl and Libby Brooks, his brother-in-law, Gerry Boyce and his sister-in-law, Kelly Brooks.
Following cremation, visitations will be held from Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John (646-2424) on Friday, April 11, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. The family invite you to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2 pm at St. Mark’s Church, 171 Pettingill Road, Quispamsis, NB.
