KINCADE, MURRAY - With sadness the family announces the passing of Murray Alder Kincade which occurred on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born December 27, 1922 in Saint John, he was the son of the late James M. and Beulah (Appleby) Kincade. Murray graduated from Saint John High School in 1941. He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Past Chairman of the Illuminating Engineering Society. He joined the army during World War II and was given an honourable discharge due to poor health. Murray spent all his working years in the Electrical trade, working with Electrical Distributors and Contractors and was a volunteer with the Kincade Group. He is survived by his sons Douglas (Shelley) of Quispamsis, Brian of Riverview; daughter Deborah (Gerald) McMahon of Upham; sisters Beulah Lamb and Myrna (John) Lock; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers Bev, Jimmy and John, sisters Velma and Olive and brother-in-law Alex Lamb.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Funeral Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 1 p.m. The family will receive visitors from 11 am until 12:45 pm.
