At the Prince County Hospital on Thursday, April 10, 2014, of Beryl Joan Craswell — Best (nee Johnston) of Crapaud and formerly of Tryon, age 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Gerald Best and Albert Craswell. Mother-in-law of Lynn Craswell — Nicholson (Ron) and stepmother of David (Heather) Best, Marilyn (Sheldon) Myers, and Marie Best. Loving grandmother of Christine (Micah) Fenton, Laura Craswell (Gilles), Lois and Katelyn Craswell, great grandchildren Elizabeth and Samuel Fenton, eight step-grandchildren, and eight step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by sisters, Lois Johnston, Boston, and Ione Kelly, Peters Road. Predeceased by her sons, Benny Craswell in infancy, John David Craswell, and brother-in-law, Rollie Kelly. Resting at the Dawson Funeral Home, Crapaud, with visiting hours Sunday, 3 to 6 p.m. Funeral service from the South Shore United Church, Rte. 10, Tryon, Monday, April 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. If so desired memorial donations may be made to Prince County Hospital or Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery.
