Card of thanks
Frank C. Munroe
The family of the late Frank Munroe, wish to express sincere gratitude for the outpouring of love and support we received from family, friends and neighbours during Frank’s illness and death. We extend a special thanks to Dr. Stephen MacDougall, Frank’s long time Physician and Dr. Susan MacLeod, whose uplifting home visits helped ease Frank’s final days. To all who attended the Wake and Funeral Service, your presence touched us deeply. To those who sent floral tributes, memorial donations, sympathy cards, gifts of food, telephone calls and online message, and to those who travelled to be with us at this difficult time, we gratefully thank you. To Rev Thomas Whent and Rev. Boyce Eliott, thank you for the meaningful service celebrating Frank’s life. Sincere thanks to readers, niece, Judith Mrazek and granddaughter, Melisa Profit. A special thanks to organist, Flora Gardiner and vocalists, Arlene Stevens and Vivian Jeddore. Your uplifting gift of music brought us great comfort. A personal reflection by grandchildren Cole Nichols, and Melissa Profit was such a beautiful tribute of praise honoring their grandfather. You did a heartwarming job at such a difficult time. Lisa’s amazing saxophone solo “Oh Danny Boy”, was her personal gift honoring her father’s memory. Dad would have been so proud. To the Royal Canadian Legion members, Branch 128, and the The Cape Breton Naval Vets, it was an impressive heartwarming farewell that you gave your fellow shipmate. Frank would have felt honored. To the staff at Sydney Memorial Chapel, our sincere appreciation for your exceptional professionalism, your compassionate guidance and understand kindness will never be forgotten. To the VON, Palliative care and our private caregivers, Gary Bernasky, Betty Morrison and John Bourgeois, our grateful thanks for your continuous support and care during Frank’s illness.
