The death occurred at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, with family at her side, of Yvette Doiron (nee Daigle), aged 85 years. Yvette was the beloved mother of Monique Doiron, Louise Doucette (Eric, deceased), Jeannette Doiron Gallant (Wade Gallant), Madeleine Rahman (Abdul) and Lucille Ramsay (Don). She was the loving grandmother of Lise, Paul, Sarah (Arron), Stéphanie (Mike), Shawn, Matthew, Jonathan¸Christine, Lee, Monique, Alexander; and great-grandmother of Isabelle, Olivia, Chloé, Harmony and Bodhi. Yvette is also survived by her sisters, Antoinette Cormier (François, deceased) and Cécile Poirier (Georges). She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Yvette was predeceased by her husband Jean (John) H. Doiron; her parents, Jean and Elisabeth (Guimond) Daigle; and several brothers and sisters. Resting at the Central Queen`s Funeral Home 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation, on Wednesday, April 16, 2014, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Augustine’s Roman Catholic Church, South Rustico, on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at 10:30 a.m. If so desired, memorial donations to The Alzheimer Society of P.E.I. would be appreciated.
