BOYD, ELIZABETH "BETTY" - Elizabeth "Betty" Louise Boyd (nee Lipsett), 94 of Woodstock NB passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at her residence. Betty was born in Hartland NB on September 17, 1919 daughter of the late Harry and Dora (Rogers) Lipsett. Betty is survived by her children; Barbara Boyd (David Perks), Brian Boyd (Jane), Alyson Wetmore (Richard), grandchildren; David Boyd, Michael Boyd, Matthew Boyd, Virginia Wetmore, Meghann Wetmore, Curtis Wetmore, seven great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends. Besides her parents Betty was predeceased by her husband; Curtis, sisters; Mona Clark, Pauline Jamieson and Mildred Lanyon.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Friday, April 18 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held at St. James United Church Woodstock on Saturday, April 19 at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery at a later date. Memorial donation can be made to St. James United Church or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
