Stephen Coombs, age 40, of Mount Pearl died peacefully on Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Stephen was born to Gerald and Glenys (Bartlett) Coombs. He was predeceased by his mother Glenys Coombs and his grandparents Joshua & Rosie Coombs and Fred & Hannah Bartlett. Leaving to mourn with loving memories: father Gerald (Claudette Boyd) Coombs; sister, Joanne (Shaun Wilson); treasured niece Samantha and nephew Dillon; grandparents Claude & Flora Boyd; and, loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. At Stephen's wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home, Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Visiting hours are Tuesday April 22, 7-9pm; Wednesday April 23, 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Memorial service will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, April 24 at 2pm.
