The death occurred at the Palliative Care Unit, Charlottetown, on Friday, April 18, 2014, of Harold “Harlie” Simpson, of North Rustico, age 83. Harold is survived by his sisters, Clemmie Campbell (Louis) and Vivian Hiscott (Vernon); brothers, Preston and Don; sixteen nieces and nephews; several grandnieces and nephews; and a few great-grandnieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Earle and Annie (Robinson) Simpson; brother, Eric (Della); sisters, Hazel Buell (Walter) and Nellie Shea (Douglas); and sister-in-law, Colleen Simpson. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Rd., New Glasgow, for visitation on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 1 to 2:45 p.m. The funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel at 3 p.m., following the visitation.
