GILLESPIE, RALPH - At his residence, April 16, 2014, Mr. Ralph Gillespie of St. Almo passed away unexpectedly at the age of 74. He was married to the former Jeanetta Reed. Born at Grand Falls in 1939, he was a son of the late Levi and Ada (Everett) Gillespie. He is survived by his wife, Jeanetta, two sons, James (Trisha) and Leigh (Cheryl) of Billerica, Massachusetts, three daughters, Laurie Beattie (Doug) of Sudbury, Massachusetts, Lisa Griffin (Michael) of Hudson, New Hampshire and Katherine Gillespie of Pembroke Pines, Florida, ten grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Jillian, Jeanetta, Levi, Kristina, Victor, Diego, Cameron and Collin, three great grandchildren, Kara, Sophia and Danielle, sisters and brother, Rebecca Savage (Ivan) of Grand Falls, Jim (Linda) of Arthurette, Barbara Gillespie of Moncton and Judy Theriault (Clayton) of Grand Falls, sisters-in-law, Louise Gillespie (late Ronald) of Watertown, Massachusetts and Norma Browne (Frank Browne)(late Marshall Gillespie) of Grand Falls, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Ronald, Leigh and Marshall as well as infant brothers, Thomas and Joseph.
Resting at O’Regan’s Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. His funeral service will be held Monday, April 21st at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, Grand Falls (Portage) with Father Curtis Sappier officiating.
