LITTLEJOHN, Norman “Val” — of St. John’s, passed suddenly but peacefully away at Saint Luke’s Nursing Home on Saturday, December 20, 2008. Predeceased by parents: Constable Ewart and Caroline Littlejohn; brother-in-law: Edgar Pike of St. Lawrence. Leaving to mourn his loving and devoted wife: Viola (nee Pike) of St. Lawrence; children: Valerie (Tom Casey), Tony, Gail, Bill (Lori) and Giles (Kelly Moore); two beautiful granddaughters: Samantha and Stephanie Casey; two grandsons: Cody and Brady Littlejohn (Poppy’s little buddies); sisters: Shirley Trinkett (Bill) and Lorraine King (George); brother: Max (Becky) of Alberta; sister-in-law: Helen Pike of St. Lawrence as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Monday, Dec. 22 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Tuesday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow funeral service.
