ROSENOW, EDITH F. RN - Edith F. Rosenow RN passed away peacefully at Lakeview Manor on Friday, April 18th, 2014 at the age of 92. Born in Mildmay, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late C. Albert and Annie G. (Mitton) Rosenow. Edith began her nursing career in Moncton, graduating from The Moncton Hospital School of Nursing, her career taking her to Detroit as well as many Canadian and US locations. After retirement she volunteered many hours at The Moncton Hospital, Moncton Public Library, Karing Kitchen, University Women’s Club book Fair. She was a long time member of Central United Church, Moncton. She will always be remembered for her great love of cats. Edith will be sadly missed by her nieces, Janet (Robert) Brace, Ruth (Rick) Murray, and nephew Jerry (Diane) Rosenow; several great nieces, nephews and their families. In addition to her parents, Edith was predeceased by her brother Albert M. and his wife Edith M. Rosenow, nephew Albert E. and his wife May Rosenow.
A memorial service celebrating Edith’s life will be held in June, date to be announced. The family would like to thank the staff at Lakeview Manor for their exceptional care. Memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of NB, Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation or The Arthritis Society of Canada.
