1946-2008. Patricia A. "Pat" (Young) Jenkins, 61, of St. Augustine, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2008. Mrs. Jenkins was born the second youngest of seven children to parents Leslie and Mary Young on Nov. 7, 1946, in St. John's, Newfoundland, and was of the Catholic faith. She lived in Long Island, N.Y., for 25 years and then moved to Orange Park, Florida for eight years, before moving to St. Augustine two years ago. Mrs. Jenkins loved genealogy and for 35 years helped people all over the world find their roots. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; she will be dearly missed.Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Barre Jenkins; one son, Brian Jenkins; one daughter, Lesley Jenkins; one brother, Robert Young; five sisters, Jean Quirk, Rose Auchinleck, Dolores Fedon, Shirley Moss, Barbara McKinney and Aunt Rose (Ryan) Stephens; and two grandchildren, Julia and Alysha.
