The death occurred peacefully, surrounded by family and friends, at the Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown, on Saturday, April 26, 2014, of Helen Doucette, of North Rustico, age 81.
Helen is survived by her brother, Alfred “Buddy” Doucette; nephews, John (Maryellen), Paul (Elena) and Michael (Shani) Doucette; grandniece, Katie; grandnephew, Wesley; stepgrandnephew, Christopher Scearbo; and numerous cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Cecilia (Gallant) Doucette.
Visitation will be held at Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, North Rustico, on Monday, April 28, 2014, from 6 to 9 p.m. The CWL will hold a prayer service prior to the visitation at 5:30 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Stella Maris Church on Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. Interment in the church cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
