Doreen (Hiscock) Anderson, age 57, passed peacefully but suddenly away at the Dr. G. B. Cross Memorial Hospital, Clarenville on April 20, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was a kind and loving soul who was predeceased by her husband, Joshua and mother, Irene. Doreen had a huge heart and one of her biggest joys was caring for the children in her life. She had a young imagination, was known for her beautiful smile, a positive personality and touched the hearts of many. She leaves behind her father, Charles; brothers, Chesley (Lela), Bruce (Lynette), Everett (Adelaide) and Graham (Debbie); sisters, Margaret Hampton (Wycliff) and Audrey Stringer (Brian); also extended family including many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rested at the Memorial and Trinity United Church, Deep Bight from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Bob Mercer, took place on April 24, 2014 with interment following.
