Passed away suddenly at Placentia Hospital on Saturday, April 26, 2014, George Thomas of Shoal Harbour, aged 74 years. Predeceased by son-in-law Thomas Walsh and brothers Nelson Thomas and Gordon Thomas. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Hampton Marjorie of 52 years; daughters Judy Walsh, Fredericton, NB, Gail (Sheldon Kobewka), Winnipeg, MB and Amanda (Justin Jennings), Shoal Harbour; sons Glenn (Florence), St. John's, Keith (Pauline), Fredericton, NB and Curtis (Angela), Ottawa, ON; nine grandchildren; sisters Gloria (Murdock Nadeau) and Judith (Jerry Fequet), both of St. Paul's River, QC; brother Lloyd (Joan), St. Paul's River, QC; step-brothers Brian (Sharon) and Ross (Brenda), both of Lennoxville, QC; sister-in-law Joyce Thomas, Codroy Valley, and a large circle of family and friends. Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and close friends will take place at Fewer's Funeral Home, Clarenville on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In his memory donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
