Frances Powell, 89, passed away April 25, 2014 in Halifax, NS. She was predeceased by her husband, Cyril Powell; her sister, Lizzie Snow; her sister-in-law, Marjorie Powell. Survived by daughter, Pam Barbour (Gerry); sons: Max and Conrad (Gail); brother, Jim Caines; grandchildren: Ted, Andrew, Pam, Scott, Eve and Colin; as well as many nieces and nephews. The funeral service, led by Archbishop Stewart Payne, was held at the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street, on May 1, 2014, followed by burial at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
