It is with great sadness that the family of the late Clifton Hynes announce his sudden passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville May 3th, 2014 at the age of 65 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Betty Jean, Daughter Megan (Greg) Mercer in kippens, his sons Darren (Diane) Hynes, David (Rochelle) Hynes both of Fort McMurray AB and three special grandchildren Jack, Emily and Adrianna. He will be sadly missed by his five brothers: Danny (Betty) Hynes of Conception Bay South, Andy (Barb) Hynes of Port au Port East, John (Karin) Hynes of Edmonton AB, Stanley Hynes of Mississauga ON and his four sisters: Avis (Francis) Lafitte of Port Au Port East, Margaret (Clyde) Hynes of St. Johns, Dianne (Ron) Russell of Mississauga ON, Julia (Conrad) Marche of Shelburne ON, Milly (Edison) Levy of Brampton ON and also by his sister-In-Laws and his Brother-In-Laws. He is predeceased by his parents Daniel and Mary Hynes and his brothers Wayne and David Hynes and his sister Patsy Lucas. Friends may call at Russell’s Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Dr. Stephenville on Tuesday May 6th and Wednesday May 7th, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9. Funeral service will take place 10 am Thursday May 8th, 2014 from St. Stephens Church with cremation to follow. Interment will take place Friday May 9th, 2014 at 10am at the Hillside Interfaith cemetery on the Hansen Highway.
