Peacefully, surrounded by her family and friends, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday, May 5, 2014, of Frances M. Affleck (nee Campbell), of Charlottetown, age 71 years.
Best friend of 56 years to Reg Affleck. She is also survived by her daughter, Carla (Mike) MacGregor; grandson, Braiden; sisters and brothers, Roberta (Gerard) Daigle, Elizabeth (the late Percy) Affleck, Shirley (Kevin) Myers, Valerie (Allison) Mitchell, Edna O’Brien (David Carter), Regina (Kenneth) Myers, Joseph (Beverly) Campbell, and Doug (Ellen) Campbell. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Genevieve (nee MacMaster) Campbell; son, George, and sister, Joyce Diane, both in infancy.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Thursday morning, then transferred to St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in the parish cemetery. No visitation by personal request.
