The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Sunday, May 4, 2014, of Patricia "Pat" Barrett, of Linkletter, aged 73 years. Born in Camrose, AB, she was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Isabelle (Tate) Atkinson. Survived by her husband Archibald "Archie" Barrett; children Robert (Wanda), Saskatoon, SK; Pam Barrett (Lew Irvine) Dartmouth, NS; David (Lynette Boland-Barrett), Strathmore, AB; Barry (Kathleen Rorke), Guelph, ON; grandchildren Andrew, Graham, Aaron, Cameron, Adrienne, Britney, Morgan, Emma and William; great-granddaughter Quinn; sisters Maureen (Brian) Mikasko, Stoney Plains, AB; Sunshine Melody, Australia. Predeceased by her brothers Murray and Barry Atkinson. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral. Interment will later take place in Peoples Cemetery, Summerside. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
