Born in Port aux Basques, on January 19, 1946, Bette was the oldest of six children. She was predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Patricia Gillam, brother in law Arthur Bragg, sisters in law Sheila Munden and Joan Bragg, and mother and father in law Nathan and Madeline Bragg. Left to mourn is her loving husband Nathan (Jr) of 47 years, two children Patti (Dana), and Vanessa (Richard) LeRiche, her four grandchildren and one great granddaughter who completely adored her—Bobbi (Loren), Morgan, Beth, Owen, and Jorja. Bette worked at the Scotia Bank for 35 years, retiring in 1999 and then joined BCJ Tax Centre where she helped many people doing what she loved.
