At the Kings County Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, Linda Lou Osborne, age 66, of Murray River, passed away with her family by her side.
Born in Beach Point, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Devona (Sprague) Osborne.
Linda is survived by her children, Ronald (Tonya) Avender, Tanya-Lee (Wade) Hawkins, Troy (Kelli) Avender, Cameron Backmann, Brooke (Roy) Crant; brothers, Ira (Elizabeth) Osborne, Bud Osborne; sisters, Barbara (Keith) Wall, Trudy Savoie; 15 grandchildren; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Linda was predeceased by a son, David Avender; brothers, Joseph, Hampton and Reginald; sisters, Ralta, Peggy, Grace and Patricia.
No visiting hours by the family's request. Funeral service to be held on Friday, May 9, 2014 at 3 p.m., from the Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
