It is with great sadness that we the family announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and sister.
Beulah passed away peacefully on May 6, 2014, at the Terrace Manor.
Born in Glace Bay, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann (Nash) Rogers.
Beulah took great pleasure spending time with her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren. Also over the years she enjoyed bingo, a good game of cards and telling stories and jokes with her friends at Terrace Manor.
Beulah is survived by daughters, Debra (Wallace) Rose Neil’s Harbour, Beverly (Richard) MacAulay, Glace Bay; and son, Louis (Patricia) Lillington, Neil’s Harbour; grandchildren, Jennifer, Cindy, Thomas, Mathew, Brandon, John, Ashton, Eric and Bentley; sister, Nina Juski, Glace Bay; and brother, Thomas (Lorraine) Rogers. Glace Bay.
Besides parents, she was predeceased by husband, Chester, sisters, Shirley and Georgina and brother in Infancy.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8 at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay, from 2-4 p.m. and Friday, May 9 at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, Neil’s Harbour, from 12-1:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9, 2 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church with Rev. Carolyn Sharpe officiating. Burial to take place in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
