GEIKIE, MELISSA LEE - Melissa Lee Geikie, 29, of Moncton, passed away unexpectedly at The Moncton Hospital on Thursday, May 8, 2014. Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of Roger Trenholm (Suzanne Melanson) and Aileen Geikie. Melissa was a Ward Clerk at The Moncton Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her children, family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, Roger (Suzanne Melanson) and Aileen, she will be sadly missed by her precious daughter, Mya Gutic-Geikie; sisters, Melanie Geikie Melanson (Paul), Mandy Geikie (Joey) and Marissa Melanson-Trenholm; paternal grandmother, Dollie Trenholm; nieces, Brooke Melanson and Emma Geikie; several aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Melissa was predeceased by her infant son, Daymien Geikie-LeBlanc (May 2013); maternal grandparents, Byron Geikie and Irene Thomas; paternal grandfather, Alton Trenholm.
Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Funeral Service at Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 1:30 pm with Pastor David Way officiating. Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
