It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lorne Joseph Hughes announce his passing on Wednesday May 7, 2014 at the age of 56 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his mother Emma Myers-Hughes, children: Nicholle Louvelle of Calgary, AB, Jason Louvelle of Fort McMurray, AB, Kayla Van Dusen of Toronto, ON; grandchildren: Nathan, Broderick, Reese, Ella Maria; siblings: Alice Pye (Glenn), Bernard (Catherine) Hughes, Brent (Margaret) Hughes, James (Maureen) Hughes, special aunt Hilda Pittman, as well as large circle of relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Joseph Hughes (June 27, 2010). In keeping with Lorne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Interment to take place on Monday May 12, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Patricia Cemetery, with Father Maurice O’Quinn officiating.
