McLAUGHLIN, PHYLLIS - At the Grand Falls General Hospital, May 9, 2014, Mrs. Phyllis McLaughlin of Limestone Siding passed away at the age of 93 years. She was the wife of the late Howard McLaughlin. Born at Medford in 1921, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Mildred (Dee) McQuade. Mrs. McLaughlin was very active in the Ortonville Baptist Church. She is survived by nine children, Kathleen Davis (Jack) of Grand Falls, Patricia Guest of Limestone Siding, Robert (Joan Reid) of Woodstock, Gene (Aline Levesque) of Plaster Rock, James of Limestone Siding, Aubrey (Bernadette McCarthy) of Moncton, Danny (Nicole Belzile) of Kelly Road, Brenda McLaughlin of Oromocto and Donnie (Paula Pelletier) of Dieppe, 24 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother, Vaughan McQuade of Pembroke, Ontario, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Verna Bowmaster and Laura Baker, and brothers Herman, Earl, Lewis, Clarence and Tim McQuade.
Resting at O'Regan's Funeral Home, 515 Everard Daigle Blvd., Grand Falls with visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Her funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 14th at 11 a.m. from the Amazing Grace Pentecostal Church, Limestone Siding with Rev. Roy Dee officiating, assisted by Baptist Pastor Charles W. Johnston. Interment will follow in the Ortonville Baptist Cemetery. www.oregans.ca
