The passing occurred Thursday May 8, 2014 of Sheila Emilie McLaren at the Peterborough Health Centre. Born in New Glasgow, on November 3rd, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Munro) Cook. She lived in Riversdale, NS until she went to her daughter Edie and son in law Roland Bond’s in Hastings,Ont. She is survived by daughters Edwina (Roddie Cox) Bass River, NS, Edie (Roland Bond) Hastings Ontario, Theresa (Adam Puffin) Peterborough Ontario; Grandchildren Amanda and Roddick, Bass River, NS, Mary (Adam Johnson) St. Catherines, Ontario, Jordan, NS, Morgan, Peterborough Ontario; Great Grandchild Isaac, Bass River, NS. Siblings, Joan (Hugh Johnson) Bible Hill, NS, Marilyn (Bruce Irving) Hilden, NS; Tom Cook Riversdale, NS, Steven Cook, Truro, NS, several aunts and cousins. She was predeceased by daughter Charlene Dyment; brothers Gerald and Kenneth in infancy; and first husband Charles Dyment. Cremation has taken place and burial will be at Six Mile Brook, NS at a later date.
