GIROUARD, VICTOR - 1933 - 2014 - Notre-Dame-de-Kent, NB – Victor Girouard, 80, passed away peacefully at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre, on Sunday, May 11, 2014. Born in Village Pellerin, NB, he was the son of the late Émilien and the late Sara (LeBlanc) Girouard. He worked as a sheet metal worker. Victor will be sadly missed by his three children, Dianne Cormier (John) of Dieppe, Terry (Carolyn Bergeron) of Ashburnham, Mass, Linda Balzer (Mark) of Phoenix, Ariz.; his three sisters, Patricia Cormier (Laurie) of Cocagne, Ronalda Pelletier (Gerard) of Port Cartier, QC., Roberte Doucette (John) of Notre-Dame; a special friend Jeannine; his seven grandchildren, Travis, Tyler, Tomi, Ryan, Jesse, Rebbeca and Joshua; his three great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Samuel, Braden; also by several nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Slumber Room, 3863, Route 115, Notre-Dame-de-Kent on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and from 7:00 to 9:00pm, on Friday, May 16th, 2014 from 9:30am till the time of funeral. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Roman Catholic Church, Notre-Dame-de-Kent, on Friday, May 16th, 2014 at 11:00am. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
