Taylor, Cleveland F. – 78, of Parrsboro passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014 at Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre, Upper Nappan. Born in Parrsboro, he was a son of the late Carl and Elsie (Phinney) Taylor. He was a retired mill wright, having worked for Ledwidge Lumber Company for many years. He later worked for Parrsboro Metal Fabricators until his retirement. He loved antique cars and his hometown, Parrsboro. He is survived by his former wife, Luella (Richardson) Taylor, Parrsboro; daughters, Donna Taylor (Carl Margeson), Amherst; Margaret Dillman (Peter), Lantz; Shelley Salter (James), Warsaw, Poland; Susan Taylor, Halifax; Marie Taylor, Parrsboro; brothers, Allan (Shane), Parrsboro; Gary Taylor, Parrsboro; grandchildren, Nicole Richardson, James and Christopher Salter, Justin Dillman; great grandchildren, Caden and Alina; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Tara; sisters, Jean; Beatrice; brothers, Roland, Robert, Verland, Gerald, Fred, Ralph, Lawrence. Visitation 6-8 p.m. today [Wednesday, May 14, 2014] at Smith’s Funeral Home, Parrsboro, where funeral service will be held 2 p.m. on Thursday [May 15, 2014], Rev. Tory Byrne officiating.
