Passed peacefully away at Agnes Pratt Home, St. John's on Sunday, March 16, 2008, Myra Verlie (Butt) Pardy, aged 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her devoted husband of 64 years, Angus, of Parkdale Manor, Mount Pearl; her daughter Rose Strange (Tom) also of Mount Pearl; one grandson Gregory (Allison) of Bedford, Nova Scotia; two great-grandchildren Hannah and Joshua; two sisters: Grace Butterworth (Fred) of St. John's and Francis Butt (Gilbert) of Mount Pearl and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett's Chapel on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Field of Honor.
