PICTOU – Douglas Fulton Rudolph, 82, of Pictou, passed away peacefully May 15, 2014.
He was surrounded by his loving family at the time of his passing. Doug was a loving husband, father, grandfather, proud Korean War Veteran and Royal Canadian Legion Member.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean; daughters: Donna (Malcolm), Sharon (Johnny) and Charlotte; daughter-in-law, Brenda; sons, Raymond (Judy) and Donald; grandchildren: Mark, Jason, John, Shannon, Megan, Sarah, David, JoLynn, Christopher, Colby and Kyle.
He was predeceased by his parents, Rueben and Sophia; and son, Paul.
Visitation will be 6:30 – 9:00 p.m. today (Saturday) in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral will take place 2 p.m. Sunday from Stella Maris Roman Catholic Church, Pictou. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Aberdeen Palliative Care Society or The Lodge that Gives.
