GERBER, OTTMAR (OTTO) - 1935-2014 - Otto Gerber of Riverview passed away on Friday, May 16, 2014 at The Moncton Hospital. Born in Romania, he was the son of the late Gustav and Rosalie Gerber (Duczek). Otto was employed with Nobles and then later worked for and retired from Dieppe Auto after 15 years of service with them. He was a volunteer for The MS Society and The Moncton Food Bank Alimentaire.
He will be dearly missed by sons, Wolfgang (Marie) of Ottawa; Andrew (Cathie) of Fredericton and Mike of Riverview; grandchildren, Ashley, Victoria, Crissie, Jamie Lindsay and Todd; and two great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
The family will be receiving friends and relatives at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine Rd., Riverview (869-2007) on Tuesday from 6 to 8pm. A service will take place from Cobb’s Funeral Home Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 11am with Pastor Brent Hudson officiating.
