Irene Morley, of Williams Lane, Howie Center, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Christmas Island, she was the daughter of the late Hector and Isabel (MacDougall) MacNeil.
Irene was a member of Our Lady of Fatima parish.
Surviving are her husband, Perley; daughters, Jennifer Tell and Lisa Romeo; sisters, Marie Boute, Dena Boute, Theresa Currie, Margaret MacNeil and Leona (Arthur) Bushnik; brother, Michael; and six grandchildren.
Irene was predeceased by her sister, Christy MacNeil and brother, Patrick MacNeil.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church on Tuesday 11 a. m., with Rev. Duaine Devereaux officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery.
