It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving son and father, Blair, after a brief illness.
Born in Glace Bay, Blair was the son of Blair Thomas Sr. and Hannah (Boutilier) Hanrahan.
He is also survived by his sons Evan, Logan and step-son Donald; daughter Ava Grace and step-daughter Virginia. Blair is also survived by his many aunts, uncles, cousins and his grandmother, Margaret.
He was predeceased by his baby sister, Margaret.
Blair loved sports, especially darts and baseball. He was an avid dart and baseball fan, playing in numerous leagues and teams over the years.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, Glace Bay. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 19 at 2 p.m., Pattern Funeral Home Chapel.
If so desired, donations may be made to the lung association in memory of Blair.
