GOUGH, John Patrick – (1937-2008). Passed peacefully away on Monday, December 22, 2008 at the L.A. Miller Centre, after a long courageous battle with cancer, John Patrick Gough, age 71 years. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Gertrude Gough (nee Kennedy), sisters Mary and Sheila and brother Fred. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Ellen (Nellie Power); sons: Robert (Cindy) and Brian (Rossann); daughter Anne Marie (George); cherished grandchildren: Lindsay, Melissa, Wesley, Katie, Tyler, Nick and Greg; sisters: Winnie (Constantine) and Velma (Sullivan); brother Kevin; and a large circle of brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl. Visitation on Friday, December 26, 2008 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. from Corpus Christi Church.
