At the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Friday, May 16, 2014, of David Frederick Kinch, formerly of Brockton, P.E.I., age 83 years. Born at Alma, P.E.I., on July 5, 1930, he was the son of the late Benedict and Gertrude (nee MacNeill) Kinch. Dear brother to Jennie O'Halloran of Bloomfield, Elizabeth MacNeill of Summerside; and Joseph Kinch of Alberton. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Ruthie Kinch, Esther MacEachern, Marie Kinch, Anne Kinch and Sarah Kinch. He was predeceased by siblings: Lawrence, Etta, George, Ben, Irving, Lucy, Everett, and Wilbert. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home, Alberton, for visiting hours Sunday, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday morning May 19, 2014, from St. Mark's Roman Catholic Church, Burton, Lot.7, for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Chris Sherrin, celebrant. Interment in St. Mark's Cemetery. As an expressiobn of sympathy, memorials to St. Mark's Cemetery Fund or to the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, would be gratefully appreciated.
