It is with great sadness that the family of the late George Henry Crane announce his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on Monday May 19, 2014 at the age of 53 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his partner Flo Taker; daughter Amy Crane; stepdaughter Amanda Locklyn; grandson Dylan Jr.; father George Crane Sr.; siblings: Veronica (Gary) Payne, Gregory (Christine), Marvin (Wanda-Lee), Christopher (Carolyn), Clement (Irenenea), Alice Crane, Jamie, as well as a large circle of nieces & nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by mother Ada; brothers: Archie, Harold, and sister Georgina. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Thursday between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Friday 10-12 noon, from where the Funeral Service will take place on Friday, May 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor William Sampson officiating. Interment will follow from the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
