Peacefully, at the Garden Home, on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, of Mrs. Rita A. Curley (nee Doiron) of Charlottetown, in her 90th year.
Beloved wife of the late Pius G. Curley and dear mother of Joan Doucette (Carl - deceased), David Curley (Peggy - deceased), Elizabeth MacDonald, Gerald Curley, George (Elaine) Curley, Jean (Roger) MacNeill and Jamie Curley. She is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, six sisters, two brothers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Gertrude Doiron; grandson, Jamie MacDonald; three sisters and seven brothers.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Friday morning then transferred to St. Dunstan’s Basilica for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of P.E.I. or the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation.
