WOAGY, WILLIAM - The death of William Bernard Woagy, loving husband to the late Irene (Hogan) (Walsh) Woagy, occurred on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre Nursing Home. Born 1923 in Saint John, he was the son of the late William and Katherine (Graham) Woagy. William, a man strong in his faith, loved the outdoors and watching sports. He is survived by his step-children Jane (Ron) Ferguson, Robert (Colleen) Walsh and Kevin (Tanya) Walsh all of St. Catherine’s, ON, Carol (David) O’Neil of Moncton, Murray (Lana) Walsh of Passekeag, Marie (Michael) Muir of Philadelphia and Raymond (Davine) Walsh of Kingston; nephews David, Raymond and Terry Crowe and families all of Saint John. Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sisters Alberta, Gloria and Katherine and a brother Norman Joseph.
Resting at Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd (646-2424) on Friday, May 23, 2014 from 3 to 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s Catholic Church on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
