CHETLEY, KEITH - With sadness the family announces the passing of Master Keith Elwin Chetley, loving husband to Bertha Robichaud occurred on Thursday May 22, 2014 at Carleton Kirk Lodge. Born 1929 in Saint John, he was the son of the late Joseph and Sarah (Long) Chetley. Keith was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #62, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting and bird watching his favorite bird was the chickadee. In addition to his wife Bertha, he is survived by his sons Wayne of St. Martins, NB and Randall (Tina) of Clifton Royal, NB; grandchildren Kara and Jeff; six great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers William, Russell and Edward and sisters Hazel Gilliland, Murial White and Doris Knox.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Rd (646-2424). By request there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday May 26, 2014 at noon. Interment will follow at Ocean View Memorial Gardens.
