The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2014, of Leo Gallant, beloved companion of Teresa Blacquiere, of Rusticoville, age 85.
Leo is survived by his nieces, Shirley C., Maureen, Lorraine and Shirley G; nephews, Ronnie, Brian, Charles and Dr. Darrell; and special friends, Dennis and Becky Chartier. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Nazarene (Doiron) Gallant; his brothers, Eliot and Alyre, and Leo, in infancy; and sisters, Irene, Martha and Millie.
Resting at Central Queen's Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Friday, May 23, 2014, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church, Rustico, on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in St. Augustine's Cemetery. Due to severe allergies, please refrain from wearing scented products.
