The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2008, of Neil Gregory Croken of Clermont, P.E.I., and formerly of Toronto, Ont., aged 52 years. Neil was born in Toronto, Ont., on May 25, 1956. Loving son of Ida (nee Gaudet) of Clermont and the late Louis Croken. Survived by his sisters, Diane Croken of Toronto, Ont., Maureen (Michael) Sansana of Mississauga, Ont., and Lois Croken of Toronto, Ont. Also lovingly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Louis, Neil was predeceased by his sister, Janet Smith. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd. , Summerside, until Monday, Dec. 29, 2008, for Memorial Service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche, P.E.I. Visiting hours on Monday morning, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service. Memorial donations in Neil’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
