Meera Belle Leister, age 5, of Chicago IL, died May 19, 2014 at home in the arms of her loving family.
She was the beloved daughter of Emily Marlow and Daniel Leister.
Meera was a very popular kindergardener at Blaine Elementary school. In her short life, Meera inspired many. Her sweet and feisty personality endeared her to everyone. She loved picnics, tea parties, the colors pink and purple, “Frozen" and making sweet notes and drawings for her family and friends. Meera’s strength, determination and endless ability to be happy despite all, was a blinding light of inspiration to all of those who knew her. A small and young girl, she had more impact than many do in a whole lifetime.
Meera Belle was the loving sister of Wilson. Dear granddaughter of Charles (Nancy) Leister and the late Walter (the late Charlotte) Marlow. Cherished niece of Jennifer Marlow, Colin Marlow and Kimberly (Ian) Taylor. Cousin of Ruby Maycock, Sagan and Beatrix Taylor. And a dear friend to many, both young and old.

Lying in State Saturday May 24, 2014 9 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at the Evangelical Church of St. Luke 1500 W. Belmont Ave., Chicago, IL 60657. Interment St. Luke Cemetery.
